Meet The Founders

Richard Butler

Rich brings more than 20 years of podcasting experience to Press Record Studios. He's produced and managed a catalog of over 250 episodes and runs the RAGE Works Podcast Network, so he understands every stage of a show, from the first mic check to distribution. PRS grew out of his home studio, which he began opening up during the pandemic to people who wanted to start their own podcasts. An audio purist at heart, Rich also knows the power of video when it comes to storytelling, and he's ready to help you tell your story and reach new audiences.

Matthew Kaplowitz

Matt is a documentary filmmaker and content creator whose work spans directing, producing, editing, and cinematography. His film credits include the feature documentary Girl Fight: A Muay Thai Story, Concrete and Crashpads: Stunts in New York, Nothing Changes: Art for Hank's Sake, and the award-winning short En Pointe. He also runs Nerd News Today, his own brand and YouTube channel, so he knows firsthand what it takes to build an audience online. At Press Record Studios, he leads production and video editing, pairing a filmmaker's storytelling eye with a creator's sense of what performs.
