These terms apply to all bookings, sessions, packages, and services provided by Press Record Studios ("PRS," "the Studio," "we," or "us") to you ("the Client").

1. General Terms

  • You agree to comply with these terms and conditions by accessing or using our services.

  • These terms may be updated periodically, and the latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Press Record Studios is currently appointment-only. Sessions can be booked through our contact form, by email at info@pressrecordstudios.com, or through other approved PRS channels.

  • All sessions must be paid for before the scheduled session unless you have a content package that has already been paid for.

  • We accept payments through credit/debit cards.

  • We do not accept cash or money orders as forms of payment.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will not receive a refund. However, sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Sessions cannot be rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice and are not eligible for a refund if you cannot attend the booking.

4. Arrival, Session Time, and Overtime

  • We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your session to get settled and complete audio and video checks.

  • Clients have a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late and other sessions are scheduled after yours, your session will need to be rescheduled.

  • Each session length is agreed upon in advance and confirmed by PRS. PRS may end a session at the conclusion of the booked time if another booking is scheduled in the following time slot.

  • Overtime is only available when no session is booked after yours. Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments and is due at the time of the session.

5. Studio Use Policies

  • Any damage caused during a session by a client or their guests may be charged to the client.

  • The client is responsible for the conduct of any guests brought to the studio and agrees that all guests will follow the instructions of PRS staff.

  • The studio can accommodate up to four guests on set. Non-session guests may wait in our conference room or waiting area.

  • PRS provides and maintains all studio equipment. Outside recording equipment is not permitted.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the studio.

6. Services

  • PRS provides access to recording facilities, equipment, and technical support during scheduled sessions.

  • Every session includes PRS staff to set up, operate, and break down the recording equipment.

  • Optional post-production services, including editing and mastering, are provided as agreed upon separately or as included in a content package.

7. Content Packages

  • Package details, including the number of sessions, deliverables, revision rounds, and turnaround times, are confirmed at the time of purchase.

  • Package sessions must be used within the package term stated at purchase. Sessions not used by the end of the term expire.

  • Turnaround times begin once a session is complete and all required materials have been received from the client.

8. Deliverables

  • Every session includes a live-cut video or audio file that you can publish on your own.

  • Raw camera and audio files are available if you bring your own SSD drive to the session.

  • If PRS is editing your session, finalized files will be delivered to the client.

9. Content Rights

  • The client retains all rights, title, and interest in the content recorded during sessions at Press Record Studios.

  • The client grants PRS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the recorded content solely for promotional purposes related to Press Record Studios, including social media posts, website content, and promotional materials.

  • Outside of this promotional use, PRS will not distribute or sublicense the client's recorded content without prior written consent from the client.

  • The client acknowledges that PRS may use the client's name, likeness, and trademarks to promote the recorded content.

  • The client is responsible for obtaining any permissions needed for guests, music, or other third-party material included in their content.

10. Affiliate Partnerships

  • PRS may sometimes link to products and services through affiliate links. These links do not add any cost to you, but PRS may receive a small commission from your purchase.

11. Liability and Indemnity

  • PRS is not responsible for personal items lost or stolen during your session on-site or in the parking lot.

  • Clients agree to indemnify PRS against any claims arising from their use of the facilities or the content they record.

  • To the extent permitted by law, PRS's total liability for any claim related to a session is limited to the amount paid for that session.

12. Privacy

  • Information you share with us is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes, we encourage clients to contact a PRS staff member to resolve the issue.

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
